Delete your data

Life in the UK Test 2026 by Horizon Lab Studios

What we hold

The app has no accounts and no sign-in. Your progress, answers, streaks, starred questions and settings are stored only on your phone. We do not have a copy on our servers.

How to delete your data

  1. Progress and settings on your phone: uninstall the app, or open Android Settings → Apps → Life in the UK Test 2026 → Storage → Clear storage. This deletes everything at once. If your phone backs up apps to your Google account, you can delete that backup in your Google account settings. On iPhone: delete the app, and remove its iCloud backup in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.
  2. Advertising data: ads are provided by Google AdMob. Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads. You can also change your ad consent at any time from the app's Settings.
  3. Anything else: email vkhorizon.lab@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request". If you have emailed us before (for example a question report or feedback), we will delete those emails and reply to confirm within one month.

What is kept

Purchase records for Premium are kept by Google Play or the Apple App Store, because they are needed to restore your purchase and for tax and accounting law. These records contain an anonymous purchase ID, not your name. They are kept for as long as the law requires (up to 6 years after the end of the tax year of purchase). Everything else listed above is deleted with no extra retention period.
